The system.
Your goals and plans should cover all areas of life:
- family
- health
- work
- personal improvement
- social life
- private projects and so on
About goals:
- 3 main goals for every period you plan
- should be reachable
- should be measurable
- should have a deadline
About plans:
- every year
- every month
- every week
- analyze results
- take goals into account
- get up and move forward if you've fallen
The tools.
- Wunderlist for planning (or Astrid or Any.do or anything you like)
- Google Keep for simple notes and buying lists
- Family budget for personal financial accounting (might be available only in Russian)
- SleepBot to track the sleep
- Gym book to track sports activity
The materials.
- «The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People» by Stephen R. Covey
- «The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness» by Stephen R. Covey
- Lifehacker
- Psychology blog sparringmind.com by Gregori Ciotti and AsapSCIENCE youtube channel
- «Getting Real» — book about software development by 37signals
- betteri.ru blog about productivity (in Russian)
- Twitter of Radislav Gandapas (in Russian) — he is a famous business trainer and book writer
